This year’s tour was a mere $1995 and our air from SFO was $744.  Our Da Nang Hotel is across from the beach and you will be treated to a spa treatment each day at that property.  Check out my March blogs and you will see all that was offered

Tree House All White Dinner Party

The dinner party kicked off at 8pm sharp, on time just the way I like it. Orane, the DJ was spinning the jams while guests enjoyed some picture taking and visiting the open bar, hosted by yours truly.  The buffet line-up made this foodie smile. The Chef and staff outdid themselves. Everything was prepared to “purr-fection” : pasta salad, green salad, pumpkin rice, Ms Myrie’s soft and fresh coco bread, sweet and sour chicken, escovitched fish, steamed vegetables and cake for dessert. It was all that!

Janice from the front desk who is quite a dancer had a surprise for Ms Kat. She and several of the ladies hit the dance floor.  Under her Soca instruction, they had perfected dollar wine: cent, 5 cents, 10 cents, dollar. Nice job, Ladies!!!

I never stay long but the next morning I get the full report.  They turned it out, partied into the night and had a blast and  That’s what’s up!  In the words of Papa Ray Charles: “Hey everybody let’s have some fun. You only live but once and when you’re dead you’re done. So let the good times roll….I don’t care if you’re young or old, you ought to get together and let the good times roll”.

Sign ups have already started for next year’s Dates: June 19-27, 2019. Complete reservation information is forthcoming.  Remember:  The oceanfront suites go quickly so don’t delay.

My this year’s birthday will be celebrated on the Greek Island of Mykonos but  Next year  marks 20 years of celebrating it in Negril.  FYI: In honor of this 20th anniversary there  will be a surprise for the first 20 that sign up and deposit.

In two weeks, I head to the south of France, to Marseille with a group of loyal repeaters.  They will be treated to great culinary and cultural experiences, a day in Aix -en-Provence, and a taste of Black Marseille with Martin Grizzell’s Black Marseille Tour.

Stay tuned and I’ll tell you about it!

It’s been a blast here in Negril, Jamaica at the TREE HOUSE RESORT but now it’s time to say goodbye to all our family here.  Next year,  June we’ll back but in the meantime and in between time let me update you on what’s available.   See photos above on what lies ahead. Interested? Inbox me at

We have space for the following beginning  with December 7-12, 2018 THE MALDIVES

April 6-15, 2019 VIETNAM (Saigon, Da Nang, Hoi An and Hanoi)

May 2-12, 2019  COLOMBIA (Medellin, Cartagena, Palenque, San Andreas)

August (Early, TBA)  FIJI – 8 Nights. 3 Coral Coast, 5 Denerau Island

In Negril, It’s A Beach Ting

We landed on the island of Jamaica May 10th. In order to avoid the lengthy and long wait for Immigration, I instructed those in the group to opt for  VIP ATTRACTIONS where a personal escort gets you through Immigration, to Baggage Claim and to the Mobay Lounge to freshen up, relax and be treated to complimentary beverages and snacks. When we were all ready to get the party started,  Our bus was waiting to load us up and get us to Negril Tree House Resort.

There were 20 in the group, all newbies except for 4.  Oh the first timers were in for a treat. Some had concerns they were not going to an “All-INCLUSIVE property nor was it one of the 5 star properties I’ve been known to offer my clients.  I’ve been coming to Tree House, owned by the lovely Gail Biggs Jackson-Brooks, since the 80’s and it’s home to me and I’m always ready to share with my friends. It’s a clean, modern, well-run  beachfront property.  It’s definitely 5 STAR when it comes to their customer service, food & beverage,  housekeeping and water sports  services.

The Managers Cocktail party was totally off the richter with the live reggae band and   The lead singer who kept the ladies on their feet. I cannot leave out Janice from the front desk  who had no problem teaching the ladies how to Dollar whine. Trust me, no small change was going on that evening.

The day at YS Falls proved to be a hit for young and old. Some even got in some zip lining.

Sunday morning gospel brunch was an awesome and moving  experience. Elricks gospel band and vocalist took them to church. Shirley McWilliams and Ms Marie Napper brought inspirational messages so deep the words even reached other hotel guests who personally told me how they were so blessed by our service.

That afternoon, the catamaran pulled up and we boarded for a relaxing cruise to The island and then down to Ricks Cafe to see the brave dive off the cliffs.  Again, an experience they were blown away by.

We still have our dinner party coming up on Wednesday night.  Stay tuned!
